The Shimano Deore SL-M5100 shifts 11 gears and is mounted on the right side of the handlebars with a clamp. It has an easily readable gear indicator. As a Rapidfire-Plus shifter, the SL-M5100 features a 2-Way Release function, i.e. the shifter cable can be released by pressing with the thumb or by pulling with the index finger. A cable and an OT-SP41 cable housing are included.
